Bharatanatyam Dancer, Instructor, and Choreographer

Swapna Srinivasan is a Bharatanatyam dancer from Madison, WI, USA. With a dance career spanning over two decades, she has established herself as a renowned dancer, instructor, and choreographer.

Early Training and Education

Swapna began her dance journey at the age of 8 under the guidance of Smt. Charusmitha Rao. She later trained with the acclaimed dancing duo Karnataka Kalashree Sri. Kiran Subramanian and Smt. Sandhya Kiran at the Rasika Academy of Performing Arts. Currently, she is receiving advanced training from Guru Vid. Radhika Ramanujam.

Swapna and her team has performed nationally and internationally, showcasing her expertise in Bharatanatyam. Their notable performances include:

She has completed her junior and senior level Bharatanatyam exams with distinction and is a “B” grade artist of DD Chandana channel. Swapna has received several awards and scholarships, including:

– “Cadenza Srinatya Kala Shreshtha” in 2019

– Scholarship from Karnataka Sangeetha Nruthya Academy

– Scholarship from Rasika Academy

Teaching Experience

With over 15 years of teaching experience, Swapna has instructed students of various age groups at several institutions, including:
